Schering-Plough Animal Health has developed and produced the world's first coccidiosis vaccine for chickens - Paracox®. Coccidiosis is a highly infectious parasitic infection affecting poultry worldwide. Paracox® is routinely used throughout the UK broiler and breeder market parent and grandparent stock for coccidiosis prevention.

Additionally, Paracox® 5 has been developed for broilers and has replaced anticoccidial drugs in many areas. Being an 'all-natural' product it is suitable for free-range and organically produced chickens. Schering-Plough is continuing to invest in the development of new vaccines for the poultry sector.
